Overview of the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Personal Service Technician (PST) to join our Volvo Service Centre team across UAE locations. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the highest standards of product and process quality within the workshop by performing diagnostics, repairs, customer interaction, and work order administration. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining compliance with Volvo standards, and supporting continuous improvement in workshop operations.
What You Will Do
• Manage customer booking and dialogue, retrieving complete work order information at first contact and performing post-visit follow ups to support customer satisfaction.
• Complete full work order administration, including invoicing warranty, goodwill, insurance, and leasing cases.
• Coordinate car rental bookings and manage key handovers for workshop customers.
• Perform diagnosis, general repairs, AGR cases, and periodic maintenance following Volvo repair manuals to achieve productivity and sold hours targets.
• Identify and understand complex customer concerns, ensuring first time right repairs.
• Ensure full compliance with Fix It Right (FIR) processes, warranty rules, and BSA/ EWARF requirements.
• Maintain, audit, and update diagnostic tools and workshop equipment as per distributor guidelines.
• Ensure adherence to HSSE and 5S standards and deliver 100% quality in Electronic Vehicle Check reporting.
• Report deviations and faults in Volvo systems for corrective actions.
• Support AATC initiatives by training and upskilling junior technicians and fostering internal mobility.
Skills
Required Skills to Be Successful
• 6–7 years of experience as a Light Vehicle Technician, including at least 2 years as a Diagnostic Technician and some exposure as a Service Advisor within an automotive dealership.
• Strong technical expertise in diagnostics, repairs, wiring diagrams, and fault interpretation.
• IMI LV Master Technician (L3–4) or equivalent certification.
• interpret repair manuals, OEM guidelines, and complex technical documentation.

• Proven experience in technical reporting, diagnosing AGR cases, and delivering high quality workmanship.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, improving workshop quality, and achieving key performance targets such as productivity, Fix It Right, and NPS.
• Highly organized, quality focused, and able to work within structured quality control processes.
• Strong understanding of OEM and distributor standards, warranty processes, and SAP-based workflows.
• Excellent customer relationship management and communication skills to explain complex concerns clearly.
• Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools, online systems, and equipment.
