Job Summary
• SC Ventures is Standard Chartered ’s innovation, fintech investment and ventures arm. We were established to reinvent banking, as the significant technological disruptions to the industry was impacting its ability to serve clients and customers, in the ways they needed to be served. • A Key Partnership Manager (KPM) is a mid-career sales/delivery role focused on identifying new key partners and responsible for devising and driving the partnership plan. Ensuring alignment with the partners and driving the revenue growth from the partnership for the organization. The primary focus of KPM is developing partnerships and ensuring that they reach their revenue potential at the earliest. This is an opportunity to shape a high-impact platform at day zero, working closely with the founding team and leading institutions in the UAE.
Strategy
• As KPM, you will work towards growing our relationship with key partners and driving financial targets.
• Contribute to defining and executing the commercial partnership plan with key partners aligned with company goals.
• Work closely with leadership team and the partner to identify key priorities and align with the partners
• Responsible for building and growing strategic relationships and driving sustainable revenue. You will contribute towards defining and executing the partnership plan and take ownership of the partner lifecycle – from pipeline development to long-term account growth.
Business
• Develop and execute a partnership strategy aligned with business goals, focusing on acquiring new vendors and integrating technology.
• Identify, onboard high-potential partners with large SME ecosystems and develop partnership plan with key revenue deliverables and timelines
• Work closely with the Tech and the product team to enable delivery of the agreed deliverables with the partners.
• Participate in commercial negotiations and help to finalize contractual agreements, ensuring win-win outcomes.
• Manage various stakeholders in the partners to ensure alignment and track the progress closely on the partnership plan.
Processes
• Own the partner onboarding journey, ensuring smooth coordination across teams.
• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key partners and decision-makers. Conduct quarterly business reviews and ongoing relationship development.
• Track performance metrics, identify issues early, and proactively optimize partner success.
• Own topline and bottom-line performance of the partner portfolio.
• Monitor partner KPIs, drive promotional planning, and collaborate on trade marketing initiatives.
• Deeply embedded with all key stakeholders and build relationships at all levels. Share key insights with partners to improve product-market fit and partner experience.
• Be a key voice of the partner, helping inform product and operational roadmap decisions.
People & Talent
• Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in a partnership or business development role, dealing with some senior-level position executives.
• A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales/revenue targets.
Risk Management
• Align with Operations, Risk, and Legal to ensure compliance, scalability, and performance tracking.
• Evaluate and mitigate the risks and benefits of potential partnerships, addressing conflicts or issues that arise in a timely and professional manner.
Governance
• Facilitate in implementing clear internal standard operating procedures (SOPs) and governance arrangements for the partnerships function to ensure scalable and repeatable processes.
• Facilitate communication and alignment across internal departments (Operations, Risk, Finance, Legal) to ensure partnership activities are integrated seamlessly and support the company's overall policies and objectives.
• Assist in negotiating different types of partner agreements including but not limited to commercialisation agreements, integration agreements, go-to market agreements.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

Skills and Experience • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a resilient, "hunter" mentality
• A deep understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
• Proficiency with crm software (e.g., salesforce, hubspot) and other sales automation tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
Qualifications • A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
• An MBA or other master's degree is preferred
• English (Arabic Preferred)
