About the job SENIOR PIPING ENGINEER
We are seeking an experienced Piping Engineer to support an ADNOC Onshore Oil & Gas project during the engineering phase. The role involves piping design, engineering calculations, material selection, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams in compliance with ADNOC standards and international codes.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform piping design and engineering activities for onshore oil & gas facilities
- Prepare and review piping layouts, GA drawings, isometrics, and piping MTOs
- Develop and check piping calculations including stress analysis inputs, line sizing, and material selection
- Prepare and review Piping Material Specifications (PMS), Line Lists, and Datasheets
- Coordinate with stress, layout, civil, structural, process, mechanical, and instrumentation teams
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC Onshore specifications, project requirements, and international codes
- Participate in model reviews, HAZOP, and design review meetings with client and PMC
- Support material requisitions (MR), technical bid evaluations (TBE), and vendor document reviews
- Resolve technical queries, TQs, and support construction as required
- Ensure all deliverables meet project schedule, quality, and safety requirements
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 8–15 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas / EPC projects
- Minimum 3–5 years of ADNOC Onshore project experience (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of piping engineering and design practices
- Experience in engineering phase (FEED / Detailed Engineering)
- Familiarity with ADNOC Onshore Standards & Specifications
- Familiarity with ASME B31.3 / B31.4 / B31.8
- Knowledge of API, ASTM, ISO standards
- Experience in AVEVA E3D/SP3D
- Basic understanding of stress analysis tools (CAESAR II preferred)
- Experience in EPC / Engineering consultancy environments
