The Employee Workplace Solutions (EWS) Sales Support Officer works closely with Relationship Managers and EWS Advisors to target companies where both solutions could be offered and giving clients the advantage of our services and driving better customer experience.
In this role, you will:
- Drive sector led strategies that will help in better management of complaints and ensure customer satisfaction
- The first point of contact within EWS business, effectively managing the support service officer teams by assisting with campaign fulfilment.
- Maximizing the level of referral activities.
- Contribute to the effective training and development of staff under the Job holder’s control.
- To enhance the standards and efficiency of banking.
- Providing information security guidance and advice to a broad range of internal customers. Build high standards of external & internal customer service, efficiency & productivity in line with strategic & operating objectives
- Logging complaint and ensuring resolution within a given time. Support other cross line businesses within the IWPB world such as Premier, Mortgage, Wealth.
- Identifying new business opportunities within the sector and work closely with the EWS team to drive better wallet share
- Ensuring that sales & operations are undertaken in accordance with the Bank’s policies and Credit Policy lending guidelines.
- Comply with local regulatory requirements.
- Proactively assist management in identifying and containing the Money Laundering compliance risk.
- Strictly following and implementing with accuracy of the KYC and due diligence information.
- To contribute to the effective management of customer facilities and Input Quality Discrepancy
- Coordinate and assist in kiosk activities and further work closely with product and frontline to make it a success.
- Work closely with other department to get card and loan applications boarded/booked in a timely manner and provide guidance and support to frontline in resolving any discrepancies raised.
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- An understanding of the IWPB products and services
- Knowledge of developing a networking strategy and proven ability to achieve targets
- Strong understanding of HSBC Group, including cross business awareness
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational skills

- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Effective / seamless handover of customer relationships to those with appropriate skills to manage them
- Customer service ethic
- A graduation degree is essential for obtaining a UAE visa and/or work permit. If your university certificate is from outside the UAE, up-to-date attestations and equivalency are also mandatory (Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications Issued Outside The UAE).
- Under the New Labour Law, only fixed term contracts shall be available to all employees of HSBC UAE (except DIFC and ADGM employees) – hence in line with the term of work permit, a 4 years’ contract would be issued. (INTERNAL)
