Overview of the role:
The Sales Engineer is responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets for commercial vehicles by combining strong technical knowledge with a customer-focused sales approach. This role supports customers by understanding their operational requirements and recommending appropriate commercial vehicle solutions while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and profitable business growth.
What you will do:
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets while maintaining agreed profit margins
- Conduct regular customer and site visits to understand technical, operational, and commercial requirements
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory
- Provide technical consultation to customers, recommending suitable commercial vehicle solutions
- Present and demonstrate vehicles, explaining specifications, performance, applications, warranties, and aftersales support
- Prepare quotations, technical proposals, and sales orders in line with company policies
- Secure deposits and ensure accurate completion of sales documentation
- Maintain accurate Daily Sales Reports (DSR) and provide regular pipeline updates
- Ensure customer overdue balances remain within agreed targets
- Attend sales meetings, product training, and technical refresher sessions
- Maintain strong customer relationships throughout the sales and delivery cycle

About the team:
You will be part of a commercial vehicles sales team that works closely with engineering, aftersales, and operations functions to deliver end-to-end solutions for customers. The team focuses on collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence to ensure customers receive reliable and effective transport solutions.
What equips you for the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a commercial vehicle sales, sales engineering, or technical sales role
- Experience with trucks, buses, fleet solutions, or automotive equipment
- Experience within the UAE or GCC market
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Fluent English is required; Arabic is an advantage
- Valid UAE driving license
