What You Will Do:
Financial Analysis
- Conduct detailed financial analysis of acquisitions, development feasibility, master plan appraisals, and strategic planning across a diversified real estate portfolio.
- Review and challenge feasibility studies for greenfield and brownfield projects.
- Maintain and own valuation and feasibility models ensuring governance, version control, safe custody, and timely updates on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Support portfolio-level financial analysis and appraisal of future development opportunities using bespoke Excel models and industry-standard software including EstateMaster and Argus.
- Contribute to year-end portfolio valuations and management KPI reporting, providing analytical support for budgets and strategic planning.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and high-quality financial insights to support senior management decision-making.
Project Management
- Review feasibility studies of projects under development/construction working closely with Commercial, Design, Development, Asset Management, and Finance teams.
- Coordinate and align input with various stakeholders to produce feasibilities for new projects.
- Ensure timely reporting of monthly development dashboard and monthly PCG project feasibility update.
- Own and manage the process of year-end valuation, producing internal valuations and coordinating external valuations for nominated assets.
- Play a leading role in the process of master plan feasibilities, capital budgets, and strategic plans.
- Lead M&A due diligence, supporting new real estate ventures through rigorous financial modeling and feasibility analysis.
People & Culture
- Develop a culture of excellence ensuring a great place to work for employees and maintaining industry reputation as the employer of choice.
- Work closely with other AFGRE stakeholders and executives to create a Best Practice Model.
- Design and implement excellence road map maximizing effectiveness of teamwork and continuous improvement in quality.
Skills
Required Skills To Be Successful:
- Strong experience using Estate Master software and building Excel feasibility models.
- Proficient in managing real estate valuations through Argus.
- Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
- Proven critical and strategic thinking with problem-solving capability.
What Qualifies You For The Role:
- Business degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance.
- Qualification of CFA / CAIA / CMA / CFI; RICS qualification preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in investment and real estate feasibility field, with at least 5 years in the GCC region.
- Working knowledge of the construction/development and real estate industry including hospitality, commercial, retail, and residential sectors.
