Job Details

Description

You will manage daily bookkeeping, VAT compliance, and financial reporting. You will maintain accurate financial records, prepare VAT calculations, coordinate VAT submissions, and ensure full compliance with UAE tax regulations. 


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records including invoices, receipts, ledgers, and payments.
  • Prepare and file VAT returns, ensuring full compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations (bank, supplier, customer).
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Ensure timely VAT submissions and documentation.
  • Coordinate with auditors and respond to internal financial queries.
  • Maintain organized documentation for VAT audits and inspections.
  • Support day-to-day finance and administrative tasks.


Skills

Skills & Competencies:

  • Solid knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, returns, and compliance.
  •  Bookkeeping and financial record-keeping for SMEs.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Excel, QuickBooks, Zoho, Tally, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
  • Ability to prepare VAT reports and handle VAT filings.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Integrity in handling sensitive financial information.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in bookkeeping and VAT handling in the UAE.
  • Knowledge of UAE VAT laws and filing portals.
