We are seeking a detail-oriented Structural Inspector to join our supervision team on an exciting building project. The role involves overseeing on-site enabling civil works for a new project in Abu Dhabi - Yas Island.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Structural Inspector to join our supervision team on an exciting building project. The role involves overseeing on-site enabling civil works for a new project in Abu Dhabi - Yas Island.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and document daily construction activities to ensure all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, and established standards. Prepare detailed daily reports and highlight any deviations or concerns.
- Identify and report non-conformances promptly, recommend corrective actions, and follow up to ensure closure of issues in compliance with project quality procedures.
- Verify all structural and civil works including excavations, backfilling, foundations, concrete works, rebar installation, formwork, and associated enabling works to confirm consistency with approved materials, method statements, and inspection test plans (ITPs).
- Review and validate contractor submissions such as shop drawings, method statements, material approvals, and work requests when required to support site supervision activities.
- Ensure that all safety, environmental, and quality standards are strictly adhered to during site operations. Actively participate in site safety walks and encourage best practices among contractors.
- Coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to resolve technical issues on site, clarify design-related questions, and ensure smooth progress of construction activities.
- Support the progress monitoring process by verifying work completion, assessing productivity, and contributing to progress reports and related documentation.
- Participate in key inspections including material deliveries, pre-pour inspections, structural element sign-offs, and any third-party or authority-related checks.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in site supervision (preferably towers/high-rise)
- Familiarity with local building codes and QA/QC protocols
- Strong communication and reporting skills
