Financial Management
- Assist in managing and maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, including income, expenses, and assets.
- Prepare financial documents, such as invoices, expense reports, and bank reconciliations.
- Support cash flow management and help monitor financial performance.
- Use accounting software to ensure accurate financial data entry and processing, adhering to IFRS standards.
- Collaborate with senior accountants on budgeting, forecasting, and periodic financial reporting.
- Assist in managing service providers and liaising with external financial advisors when needed.
- Oversee financial performance, cash flows, vendor costs, and banking arrangements for real estate assets.
Compliance and Taxation
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems and support KYC, banking, onboarding, and account-opening documentation.
- Stay informed on changes in tax laws and support tax planning activities under the guidance of senior finance professionals.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular financial, Income and performance reports for all entities, real estate and investment assets.
- Maintain mark-to-market valuations and up-to-date investment schedules and conduct basic financial analysis.
- Review monthly budget vs actual (BVA) reports and analyze spending trends to support financial planning
Collaboration, Admin & Team Support
- Collaborate with the wider team, including legal, investment, property managers and external advisors, to ensure financial information is coordinated effectively.
- Assist with administrative duties, such as organizing financial files, preparing documents, and liaising with external parties like banks, auditors, and service providers.
- Provide general support to the senior accounting team in implementing financial policies and procedures.
- Support the family office with ad hoc financial tasks and projects as required.
