About the job SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER
We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer with strong engineering expertise and proven experience in substation design, preferably within the oil and gas industry. The candidate will lead civil engineering activities, ensuring compliance with standards and successful project execution.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead civil design activities for substation projects.
- Prepare and review detailed civil engineering drawings, calculations, and design documentation.
- Ensure compliance with engineering codes, industry standards, and client specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Provide technical input for constructability, cost, and schedule optimization.
- Mentor junior engineers and review their design work.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5–8 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in substation design within oil and gas projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil design standards, materials, and construction techniques.
- Proficiency in civil design software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, STAAD Pro, or equivalent).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
