We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Audit Associate / Assistant Accountant to join our growing team.
Job Summary
The Assistant Audit Associate / Assistant Accountant will support audit engagements, bookkeeping assignments, and tax-related work for multiple clients across various industries.
The role requires strong analytical ability, willingness to learn UAE regulations, and the ability to work under supervision while handling multiple client assignments.
Fresh candidates to the UAE are welcome to apply. UAE experience is an advantage; however, prior experience in an audit firm in the home country is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in performing audit procedures and preparing working papers.
- Support senior auditors in client audit engagements.
- Handle bookkeeping and maintain accurate accounting records for clients.
- Assist in preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
- Support VAT and Corporate Tax filing processes under supervision.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing management reports and financial analysis.
- Coordinate with clients for documentation and financial data collection.
- Support system implementation and accounting software setup for clients.
Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and firm policies.
Skills
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience in an Audit Firm in home country is mandatory.
- UAE experience is an advantage but not required.
- Basic knowledge of IFRS and auditing standards.
- Understanding of VAT and Corporate Tax concepts is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Zoho, QuickBooks, Tally, etc.).
- Good command of English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple client assignments.
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally.
