Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading home furnishing and high-end textile manufacturing company. Our client is looking to hire a Head of Business who will be the driving force behind the commercial strategy and revenue growth. This role requires a unique blend of strategic leadership, deep industry knowledge, and a powerful network within the interior design and hospitality sectors. The candidate will be responsible for expanding the B2B client base, elevating brand presence, and leading both the sales and marketing teams to achieve ambitious targets.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Commercial Growth:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy to drive revenue growth across both retail and B2B channels.

- Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities within the interior design, architectural, and hotel development sectors.

- Set ambitious sales targets, manage the P&L for the business unit, and deliver on budget and forecast.

- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform product development and marketing strategy.

Business Development & Relationship Management:
- Leverage and expand an existing network of contacts with interior designers, architects, design firms, hotel procurement managers, and property developers.

- Actively prospect, nurture, and secure contracts with key specification influencers and decision-makers.

- Develop and manage a robust pipeline of high-value B2B projects, including hotel renovations, new builds, and luxury residential developments.

- Represent the company at key industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and account management team to achieve excellence.

- Collaborate closely with the Marketing Director to create targeted campaigns, premium showroom events, and compelling collateral for the design trade and hospitality industry.

- Work with the product and buying teams to ensure the collection meets the specific needs and trends of the commercial and high-end residential markets.

Brand & Showroom Excellence:
- Uphold and elevate the brand's premium positioning within the design community.

- Ensure the showroom environment and client experience are tailored to and exceptional for trade professionals.

- Serve as the ultimate brand ambassador for the company.


Requirements- Minimum of 8-10 years of senior commercial experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within high-end home furnishings, interior design, luxury retail, or the contract/hospitality supply sector.

- Proven, established network of contacts with interior designers, architects, and key stakeholders in the hotel/hospitality industry.

- Demonstrable track record of driving significant B2B sales growth and managing large-scale specification projects.

- Strong financial and business acumen, with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and P&L.

- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Deep understanding of design trends, materials, and the project specification process.

- Leadership experience with the ability to inspire a team and foster a collaborative culture.
