Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Coder with hands-on expertise in Dental, Orthodontics, and Physiotherapy coding. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate clinical coding, compliance with regulatory standards, and timely submission of claims. Experience with Concept software is preferred but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign accurate medical codes (ICD-10, CPT, CDT where applicable) for Dental, Orthodontic, and Physiotherapy procedures.
• Review clinical documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with coding standards.
• Ensure adherence to insurance guidelines, DHA / MOH regulations, and payer-specific requirements.
• Identify and resolve coding discrepancies to minimize claim rejections and denials.
• Coordinate with clinicians, billing teams, and insurance departments to clarify documentation when required.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of patient medical records in compliance with data protection policies.
• Stay updated with coding guideline changes, insurance rules, and regulatory updates.
• Support audits and internal quality checks related to coding accuracy.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certification in Medical Coding (preferred).
• Proven experience in Dental, Orthodontic, and Physiotherapy coding.
• Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, CDT, and insurance billing processes.
• Experience with Concept software is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of UAE insurance coding standards (DHA / MOH / HAAD) is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
