Job Title: Senior Compliance Officer - Client Acceptance (12 Month Contract)

About the Role:We are looking for an experienced Senior Compliance Officer to join a reputable bank in the UAE on a 12 month contract. This role will focus on client acceptance and advisory compliance activities, providing exposure to key compliance functions within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:Conduct client acceptance reviews, due diligence, and advisory checks to ensure compliance with AML, KYC, and regulatory requirementsPerform transaction monitoring and sanction screening in line with UAE regulationsSupport anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and other regulatory compliance initiativesPrepare and maintain compliance reports, documentation, and submissions for regulatory authoritiesLiaise with internal teams and regulators to ensure compliance standards are consistently met

Key Requirements:Proven compliance experience within UAE banks, with a focus on client onboarding and acceptanceStrong knowledge of UAE regulatory frameworks and compliance best practicesAbility to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver under tight deadlinesRelevant certifications such as CAMS, ICA, or equivalent preferred
