Job Details

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Procurement Assistant to support the procurement team in managing sourcing, documentation, supplier coordination, and order tracking for interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will assist in handling procurement activities, maintaining supplier records, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet project requirements. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in fit-out or construction procurement who are eager to grow their career in procurement.



Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in reviewing project drawings, BOQs, and material requirements


  • Support in preparing and sending RFQs to suppliers and subcontractors


  • Collect and organize supplier quotations for review and comparison


  • Assist in preparing comparative statements and procurement reports


  • Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, delivery timelines, and documentation


  • Prepare purchase orders (LPOs) and assist in subcontract documentation


  • Track material deliveries and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery


  • Maintain and update supplier database and procurement records


  • Coordinate with project and site teams regarding material requirements and delivery schedules


  • Monitor order status and update procurement tracking sheets


  • Ensure all procurement documentation is properly filed and organized


  • Assist in resolving delivery or supplier-related issues



Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field


  • 1–3 years of procurement or procurement support experience in interior fit-out or construction industry in the UAE


  • Experience working with fit-out contractors or construction companies is an advantage.


  • Basic knowledge of interior fit-out materials such as joinery, gypsum, flooring, glass, finishes, and MEP-related items


  • Familiarity with procurement processes, RFQs, LPOs, and supplier coordination


  • Good communication and coordination skills


  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills


  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office applications


  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines


  • Willingness to learn and grow in procurement and supply chain functions
