Crew Planning & Operations:
Plan and execute crew changes, including visa arrangements, travel, and joining logistics.
Maintain accurate crew rotation plans and ensure proper handover
Monitor crew performance, manage appraisals, and handle disciplinary cases, according to standards
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure all seafarers hold valid STCW and Flag State certifications and meet medical fitness standards.
Issue Seafarer Employment Agreements (SEA) in compliance with MLC and flag state requirements
Support internal and external audits for crewing operations
Recruitment & Training:
Source, screen, and select qualified crew,
Coordinate mandatory training and career development/succession planning.
Administration & Budgeting:
Verify crew payroll, leave, and expenses.
Review vessel disbursement accounts and ensure cost control.
- Requirements
Experience: Previous experience in a similar role
Education/Background: Requires sea-going experience as an officer or a degree in maritime studies.
Skills: Proficiency in crewing software, strong communication, and knowledge of maritime regulations.
