Role Definition



Caterpillar’s Electric Power Division isseekingaRebuild Specialist to support global aftermarket growth through the development andcommercialdeployment of rebuild offerings. This role focuses on shaping how rebuild solutions are defined, priced, and executed across the dealer network by combining technical knowledge with commercialexperienceand field engagement.



The Rebuild Specialist works closely with dealers, sales teams, and internal partners to translate service data into practical,dealerreadycommercial offerings that improve customer value, profitability, and lifecycle performance.




What You Will Do



  • Analyze dealer work orders, rebuild scopes, parts content, and labor structures toidentifyrebuild cost drivers and commercial opportunities.




  • Support the development and refinement of tiered rebuild and repair offerings aligned to customer needs, dealer capabilities, and lifecycle strategies.




  • Build andmaintainrebuildingpricing frameworks and benchmarks to support competitive positioning and consistent market execution.




  • Partner with Sales, Marketing,PartsPricing, and Product Groups to ensure rebuild offerings are commerciallyviableandfieldready.




  • Work directly with Caterpillar dealers to support rebuild strategy deployment, offering adoption, and commercial execution.




  • Participate in dealer workshops and field engagements tochampionrebuild frameworks, pricing logic, and value propositions.




  • Translate technical and financial rebuild data into clear insights and recommendations for internal stakeholders and leadership.




  • Support aftermarket new product introductions and repairoptionlaunches by ensuring rebuild offerings align with enterprise growthobjectives.




  • Incorporate dealer and field feedback to continuously improve rebuild offerings andgotomarketapproaches.

  • Background in dealer service operations, product support, rebuilds, repair options, or aftermarket commercial roles.




  • Understanding ofCaterpillar dealer business models and service operations.




  • Experience with analytical tools such as Excel, Lens, ThoughtSpot, or SIS Web.




  • Demonstrated commercial acumen andcustomerfocusedproblem solving.




  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfort leading discussions inworkshopor field environments.




Additional Information



  • This position supports global dealer engagement and requires periodic travel to dealer locations and regional meetingup to30%




  • This role requires 5 days working from office
