Overview of the Role

We are looking for an Interaction & Enablement Designer (UI/UX) to design efficient, user centred interactions across omnichannel touchpoints, digital tools, and internal platforms. This role plays a critical part in translating business, user, and operational needs into intuitive interaction designs that improve consistency, reduce complexity, and enable automation and operational efficiency across customer and internal journeys.

Partnering closely with product, technology, and operations teams across brands, you will ensure interaction design is embedded into scalable, executable omnichannel solutions that deliver measurable value for both the business and its customers.


What You Will Do

•  Plan and deliver interaction designs across omnichannel touchpoints, internal tools, and platforms, including user story mapping, wireframes, UI, prototypes, and detailed design specifications for handover

•  Identify and deliver improvements to existing interfaces and workflows through usability testing, expert analysis, and data insights

•  Engage with business, product, and operational stakeholders to understand objectives, constraints, and success measures, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the design process

•  Translate business, user, and operational needs into clear interaction, functional, and experience requirements, advocating user centred and enablement focused solutions

•  Work within established brand guidelines and design systems while continuously improving usability, consistency, and interaction quality across channels

•  Embed appropriate user research and testing activities throughout the design lifecycle and clearly communicate actionable insights

•  Facilitate effective omnichannel design workshops and collaboration sessions with cross functional teams

•  Deliver high quality experience design artefacts on time, supporting smooth execution and implementation


Skills

Required Skills to Be Successful

6+ years’ experience in a mid to senior UI/UX or interaction design role

At least 2 years’ experience within omnichannel retail environments, with a focus on e commerce

Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, XD, or similar, with a strong understanding of responsive design best practices

Experience working within design systems while driving continuous improvement and innovation


About the Team

You will join a collaborative digital design environment within the Automotive business, working closely with product, technology, and operations teams across multiple brands. The team focuses on building scalable, user centred omnichannel experiences that improve efficiency, enable teams, and enhance customer interactions across internal and external platforms.
