Job Details

  • Patrolling: Regularly inspecting building perimeter, exits, and interior areas to ensure security.
  • Surveillance: Monitoring cameras and alarm systems to detect unauthorized activity or safety hazards.
  • Access Control: Verifying visitor IDs, managing guest logs, and screening personnel with scanners or metal detectors.
  • Emergency Response: Acting immediately during alarms, fires, or medical emergencies, including providing first aid/CPR.
  • Reporting: Documenting daily activities and submitting detailed reports on incidents to management.
  • Enforcement: Removing trespassers, enforcing company policies, and detaining individuals when necessary.


Skills

  • Experience: Previous experience in security or law enforcement is often preferred.
  • Training/Licensing: Valid security guard license or registration (often required by state/local law).
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to stand/walk for long periods, climb stairs, and lift heavy objects.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for reporting and interacting with the public.
