Job Summary:

The Collection staff is responsible for managing collections, and ensuring efficient follow-up of outstanding payments. The role requires strong knowledge of UAE government procedures, legal documentation, and professional communication skills.


Key Responsibilities:

Collection & Account Management

Visit clients regularly to collect due and overdue payments.

Follow up on outstanding invoices by email, phone, and field visits.

Maintain an accurate Accounts Receivable log and update payments daily.

Coordinate with the Accounts Department for reconciliation of payments.

Prepare daily, weekly and monthly collection reports for management.

Issue receipts and ensure proper documentation of collected amounts.

Identify high-risk accounts and escalate issues when necessary.


Legal & PRO

Handle all legal procedures related to unpaid accounts, bounced cheques, or payment disputes.

Prepare required documents for filing cases with Police, Prosecution, Civil Court, and Criminal Court.

Submit and track bounced cheque cases and other legal complaints.

Attend police stations, courts, and other government agencies as the company’s representative for collection matters.


Other Tasks:

Pick up materials or items purchased by the procurement/purchase team.

Serve as a driver for VIP clients visiting the office, warehouse, or showroom.

Pick-up and drop-off of employees at the designated pick-up points.

Perform other tasks or errands as mandated by management and executives.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in accounting or logistics is a plus.
  • 2-3 years experience in collections, logistics, or office support (UAE experience preferred).
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Must be Arabic speaking
  • Basic knowledge of invoicing and recordkeeping.
  • Trustworthy, organized, and able to handle cash transactions responsibly.
  • A valid UAE driving license (manual or automatic) is required.
