Strategy
•Prepare the DG/Chairman media plan and publishing framework; supervise statements/press releases, capture feedback from concerned authorities.
• Prepare and review DG/Chairman presentations for conferences and exhibitions to ensure accuracy, clarity, and message consistency.
• Direct daily media monitoring (including social media) related to the DG/Chairman and brief the DG on significant developments.
• Supervise media requirements planning for DG/Chairman visits and major openings to ensure readiness and quality.
• Prepare media profiling plans for the DG/Chairman across channels and platforms, setting positioning themes and success criteria.
• Provide strategic advice on media best practices and engage with the media regarding the affairs of His Excellency the Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors.
• Propose strategic media coverage to enhance the media profile of His Excellency the Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors.
• Review press releases and suggest media messages to His Excellency the Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors to strengthen the corporate reputation of the Roads and Transport Authority.
• Collaborate effectively with relevant organizational units to prepare media coverage of major events and activities involving the Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors.
• Prepare impactful content for talking points, speeches, and visual presentations delivered by the Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities to draft and prepare responses for approved interviews with the Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Operations
provide administrative correspondence and directive-follow-up support: manage messaging-system correspondence, coordinate closure of DG/Chairman recommendations, and execute delegated tasks.
Product/Process Improvement
•Govern departmental processes for strategic communications (develop/update processes, policies, risk register, and supporting systems).
•Execute and manage DG/Chairman digital media channels with standardized workflows, approvals, and analytics reviews.
•Develop content for digital media publishing plans, maintain review and version control routines, and create content for strategic events and Chairman’s presentations.
Job Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications/journalism/ business administration
Experience:
- 9+ years in case of master’s degree (11+ years in case of bachelor’s degree)
