We are looking to hire an ACES Program Manager in Dubai (UAE) to join the team that redefines Ultra-fast grocery operation and help us build and grow this new service for our customers. ACES managers are focused on leading UFG LM UTR/OTR improvements made on behalf of Amazon customers, to drive into standardization efforts, act as liaisons with other departments, provide process skills to the UFG LM station, provide SME support for routing and OTR planning, support LM Kaizen Events in their areas of expertise, and to run and coordinate cross-functional projects for successful implementation across the UFG Stores.
Key job responsibilities
ACES program manager is focused on supporting UFG operations team to make continuous improvements on behalf of Amazon customers, to drive into standardization efforts in UFG LM stores, act as liaisons with other departments, provide process skills, support launches, support Kaizen events in their areas of expertise, launch tech enhancements and tools to improve UTR/OTR efficiencies and to run and coordinate cross-functional projects for successful implementation across the delivery network.
The ACES Manager working with site Ops team to:
· Benchmark and implement best practices and establish sustainable mechanisms to audit and drive adoption of these processes/systems
· Use the PDCA methodology to drive small scale improvements in processes
· Use the Kaizen methodology to drive large scale process improvements or reduction in costs.
. Own the roll out of new processes to improve Customer experience.
· Sustain roll out of Continuous Improvement (CI) essentials and Kaizen essentials training to managers.
. Own and Lead new initiatives and partnerships for Last Mile.
. Regular deep dives of concessions, contacts and other quality metrics to enhance delivery & doorstep experience.
- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System program experience
- 3+ years of maintenance planner/scheduler in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or distribution industries experience
- 3+ years of advanced Microsoft Word and Excel experience
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) full time experience
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
- Experience in MS Access and SQL
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
- Experience using Microsoft Projects software
- Experience with material handling systems (MHS) installation, operation and maintenance
- Experience working in an analytical environment with cross-functional teams
