About the role:The Client Partner is responsible for driving advertising revenue growth by owning a portfolio of advertisers and/or agencies, building relationships with senior stakeholders, and delivering consultative, insight-led solutions that help clients achieve brand and performance outcomes on X. The role blends new business growth and account expansion, campaign strategy, and cross-functional leadership to deliver measurable results.What this role will be doing?
- Revenue & Growth (Core)
- Own and grow a book of business; deliver quarterly/annual revenue targets through new spend, renewals, and upsell.
- Build and execute account growth strategies that create win/win outcomes for X and advertisers.
- Develop and present consultative sales narratives showing how X advertising solutions connect brands with audiences and deliver outcomes.
- Maintain a strong pipeline, forecast accuracy, and disciplined account planning to achieve targets.
- Client & Agency Partnership
- Establish and nurture senior relationships with advertisers and agency stakeholders; act as a trusted advisor.
- Lead strategic QBRs, planning sessions, and joint business plans; align on objectives, audience, creative approach, and measurement.
- Identify client business challenges and translate them into clear media strategies and platform solutions.
- Campaign Strategy, Measurement & Optimization
- Partner with clients to build and execute effective campaigns, interpret performance, and recommend optimizations and next steps.
- Guide measurement approach (KPIs, attribution/brand lift, reporting) and help clients navigate evolving measurement environments.
- Ensure close collaboration with the Account Manager to monitor active campaigns, revenue pacing, and in-flight performance, proactively identifying risks/opportunities and driving actions to protect delivery and accelerate incremental spend.
- Market Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration
- Stay current on X product updates and the broader digital media landscape; translate market changes into client opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal partners (measurement, creative, ops, product, client solutions) to deliver a strong client experience and resolve issues quickly.
- Contribute to team knowledge-sharing and (where applicable) mentor/onboard newer team members.
What will make you successful in this role?
- 4+ years in digital media, platform, or ad-tech sales, with a track record of exceeding quota and growing a book of business.
- Strong relationships (or demonstrated ability to build relationships) with marketing decision-makers at brands and/or agencies.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills; able to influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem (formats, measurement, targeting, brand vs. performance objectives).
- Comfortable with data: ability to translate performance signals into insights and clear client recommendations.
- Experience selling across both brand and performance objectives (and ideally video ads solutions).
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-change environments; strong collaboration and problem-solving.
