We are looking for a driven and capable Construction Project Manager (MEP/Civil/Structural) to support us with the development of multiple data center projects for leading technology clients. 


  • This client-facing role requires strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills 
  • Ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams, including civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines 
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects concurrently and across multiple regions 
  • Strong experience in data center development and multidisciplinary infrastructure coordination 

You will play an integral role in: 


  • Coordinating project delivery between engineering disciplines 
  • Ensuring compliance with data center standards and operational requirements 
  • Supporting cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle 

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Coordinate and define performance parameters for property management objectives across small, medium, and large-scale projects. 
  • Provide conceptual inputs with technical analysis for power and cooling estimates and develop plans and technical concepts for data center development using advanced, highly efficient mechanical and plumbing solutions. 
  • Manage assigned projects individually, monitor and control sites periodically to assess critical issues, and initiate necessary actions in coordination with consultants, vendors, manufacturers, and contractors. 
  • Ensure proper communication and documentation of audit findings and site inspection results, and follow up on corrective actions as required. 
  • Develop reports for senior management that include clear qualitative and quantitative analysis of project performance. 
  • Review reports and submissions from consultants, vendors, manufacturers, and contractors regarding project performance parameters and provide recommendations to enhance project quality and efficiency. 
  • Verify and certify bills and invoices from consultants, vendors, manufacturers, and contractors in accordance with contractual terms and payment guidelines.
  • Prepare, control, follow up, and supervise assigned projects from initiation to completion, including coordinating third-party contractor work related to construction, maintenance, and facility upgrades in accordance with assigned contracts and agreements. 
  • Supervise design team activities, monitor work progress, and ensure compliance with project specifications. 
  • Coordinate with FM and RS teams to determine facility status, evaluate requirements, assess alternative solutions, schedule work activities, manage access passes, process work orders, and oversee hot and cold work permits and completion certificates. 
  • Maintain productive relationships with consultants, vendors, manufacturers, and contractors to ensure effective resource utilization and continuous improvement of project quality and efficiency. 
  • Monitor emerging technologies, systems, and developments relevant to property management and data center infrastructure. 
  • Maintain close control over ongoing projects and coordinate the resolution of project issues. 
  • Coordinate the development of technical guidelines and specifications for mechanical and plumbing services for building projects. 
  • Lead and guide consultant and contractor teams from concept through commissioning of projects. 
  • Coordinate audit activities across property management functions to ensure compliance with applicable standards, guidelines, and procedures. 
  • Provide clear direction, set targets, prioritize tasks, and assign responsibilities for project stakeholders. 

QUALIFICATIONS


Required qualifications: 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. 
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in data center development projects within contractor or consulting environments. 
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines. 
  • Strong knowledge of construction project management processes and infrastructure project delivery. 
  • Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ), manufacturers, and suppliers. 
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills. 
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex infrastructure or mission-critical projects. 
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder coordination skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. 

Preferred qualifications:


  • Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management. 
  • Uptime Institute certification (ATD, ATS, CDCP, or equivalent). 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. 
  • Experience planning and coordinating data center infrastructure, including civil works, mechanical systems, and plumbing services.
