Manager - Business Continuity | MAF Retail | Corporate Head Office UAE
ROLE SUMMARY
The Manager - Business Continuity is responsible for Conducting Business Continuity, Risk Assessments Performing Business, Impact Analysis, Creating Business Continuity Plans, Crisis Management Plans, Coordinating Incident/Crisis Response, Conducting Regular Testing & Training Prepare, Circulate Reports and Dashboards, Preparing and leading Internal and external Audits
ROLE PROFILE
- Conduct risk and Impact Analysis: Perform Business Impact Analysis to Identify Critical Processes, Recovery Objectives, and related required resources. Also Identify Single Point of Failure for Critical Functions/Processes.
- Design and Implement Business Continuity Plans: Design and Develop Business Continuity plans and implement agreed recovery strategies.
- Manage Crisis response: Coordinate with the respective Functional Subject Matter Experts (SME) and support all activities, in case of crisis, that help the organization manage disruption
- Testing and training: Coordinate with the various Functional Subject Matter Experts to ensure that regular exercises are conducted to test the effectiveness of plans and employees trained on their roles and responsibilities.
- Stakeholder collaboration: Work with various Internal Functional Subject Matter Experts (R&C, Hygiene, IT etc.) and External Stakeholders and ensure preparedness.
- Reporting and Improvement: Coordinate with the various Functional Subject Matter Experts to ensure Documentation Standards are consistent and there is effective Audit Trail for Incident reporting. Create and circulate BCM program status reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Conducting Business Impact Analysis.
- Identify Process redundancies and recommend solutions for process enhancement including automation opportunities.
- Understanding of IT Systems and Infrastructure.
- Assist Countries in building & deploying BCM teams.
- Identify training needs (including on the job training) and coordinate with the HC department to ensure facilitation of required training.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Post Qualification in Finance/Audit and/or Information Systems.
- Deep Understanding of Business Processes, Systems, Crisis Management, Data Backup and Recovery Processes.
- Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP, CBCI, MBCI), ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Manager.
- 5+ years in a similar position or with Finance/Audit/BCM experience.
- Experience in Retail business can be an advantage.
