Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Electrician based in Dubai. The role involves executing and supporting electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities across various projects. The candidate will ensure all work is carried out in compliance with approved drawings, safety standards, and local regulations. Senior-level candidates may also be required to supervise site activities and guide junior staff.
Key Responsibilities Execute electrical installation, wiring, testing, and commissioning works. Should be well versed with cable laying works, glanding, termination, DB installation and dressing, SMDB installation works etc. Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs of electrical systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently. Ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and safety standards. Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documents. Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and site teams. Support and mentor junior electricians and assistants when required.
Qualifications & Experience Industrial Training or Diploma in the field of Electrical Engineering. Strong hands-on experience in electrical installation, wiring, and system configuration. Proven experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems. Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and site documentation. Knowledge of UAE electrical codes, safety standards, and site practices is preferred. Experience in EV charging, solar, or energy-related projects is an advantage.
