EC Markets is seeking a high-potential professional to join the Head Office as a Business Development & Strategy Associate, reporting directly to senior leadership. This position is designed for individuals seeking meaningful responsibility and accelerated development. It is not an administrative or support role. Instead, it offers direct exposure to senior business operations and is intended as a long-term investment in future leadership capability.
About the Role
This role is designed as a leadership pipeline position. The successful candidate will be immersed in core business activities including market expansion, partner coordination, strategic research, and execution of management initiatives. The position requires autonomy, adaptability, and the ability to deliver outcomes in environments with evolving or incomplete information.
Responsibilities
Translate high-level concepts and strategic discussions into structured, executable action plans Conduct rapid and accurate research on:Market opportunities Competitive landscapes Regulatory and compliance considerations
Coordinate and follow up with internal teams, external partners, agents, and stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions and time zones Prepare business documentation, including:Internal briefing papers Business proposals Management presentations and reports Support senior leadership in time-sensitive initiatives, with an expectation of prompt execution following strategic discussions
Qualifications

Strong Learning Agility Demonstrated ability to quickly understand complex business environments, particularly in financial services, trading, or cross-border operations Proven capacity for self-directed learning and problem-solving
Execution & Accountability Ability to deconstruct ambiguous objectives into actionable steps Strong results orientation with a demonstrated track record of ownership and follow-through
Professional English Proficiency (Mandatory) Full professional working proficiency in English Ability to independently draft emails, prepare presentations, and communicate with international stakeholders
Resilience & Drive Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment Willingness to coordinate across time zones and manage peak workloads when required
Preferred Skills
International exposure or experience in Southeast Asia (e.g., Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia) Experience in startup, scale-up, or early-stage business environments Prior exposure to business development, sales, marketing, operations, or strategy roles Interest in financial markets, trading, or cross-border business models
