About the job COMMISSIONING MANAGER
We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead and manage commissioning activities for an ADNOC Offshore project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up of offshore oil & gas facilities, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant project delivery in line with ADNOC standards.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities for offshore facilities.
- Ensure all commissioning activities are executed in line with project schedule, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and system handover strategies.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure smooth system completion and readiness.
- Manage systemization, MC (Mechanical Completion), and handover to commissioning and operations.
- Supervise commissioning teams, vendors, and subcontractors across all disciplines.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC Offshore HSE standards and promote a strong safety culture.
- Review and approve commissioning procedures, method statements, and test protocols.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and resolve technical and operational issues during commissioning.
- Manage interface with client and ensure timely approvals, inspections, and acceptance.
- Oversee performance testing, start-up, and stabilization of systems.
- Ensure proper documentation, including test reports, punch list clearance, and final handover dossiers.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related discipline).
- 15+ years of experience in oil & gas projects, with at least 5 years in a commissioning management role.
- Proven experience in offshore commissioning and start-up projects, preferably with ADNOC Offshore.
- Strong knowledge of commissioning processes, systemization, and start-up methodologies.
- Experience in brownfield modifications and live plant commissioning is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of HSE, permit-to-work (PTW), and SIMOPS.
- Ability to manage multiple systems, teams, and interfaces in a fast-paced environment.
- HSE certification (IOSH/NEBOSH) and relevant professional certifications are a plus.
