Job Details

Job Purpose


Provide expert analytical input to strengthen driver testing operations by reviewing testing outcomes, inspection suitability, examiner deployment, and vehicle standards. Enable continuous compliance with approved regulations through specialist evaluation across testing and inspection processes.


Accountabilities:


Strategy


• Provide input on standards and requirements for driver inspection and training vehicles to ensure alignment with approved security and safety principles.


• Study emerging transport safety trends to anticipate and prepare for future testing requirements.


• Monitor departmental key performance indicators (KPIs), ensure targets are met, and implement corrective actions as required.


Operations


• Contribute to activities related to managing and rotating examiners across driver inspection centers to support operational continuity.


• Provide technical advice on determining the number of applicants and issuing appointments for knowledge and practical examinations.


• Review knowledge and practical examinations of applicants and monthly examiner performance results to verify suitability with licensing objectives.


• Reviews suitability of inspection sites associated with works of a special nature for conducting examinations.


• Provide technical expertise in monitoring operations of the Remote Inspection Operations Center to ensure alignment with approved testing processes.


• Prepare periodic analytical summaries for management on examiner performance, high-risk categories, and applicant trends.


• Oversee the updating of departmental services across all service delivery channels and manage change requests in coordination with the Customer Happiness Management team.


• Monitor customer satisfaction surveys and develop corrective action plans based on feedback received.


• Track and ensure timely closure of suggestions within established deadlines.


• Follow up on the implementation of feasible suggestions within agreed timeframes.


• Conduct regular visits to driving institutes and service centres to verify service availability, collect customer feedback, and implement corrective measures as necessary.


Product / Process Improvement


• Assess operational practices and examiner performance insights to recommend improvements in driver testing effectiveness and compliance.


• Recommends updates to testing workflows, examiner scoring guidelines, or route assignments based on evidence from analytics.


Physical Working Conditions


• Predominantly office-based analysis-focused role.


Job Qualifications & Requirements


  • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration


  • 3+ years in case of Master's degree (5+ years in case of Bachelor’s degree,11+ years in case of Diploma)


  • Preferred: ISO Auditor (Quality), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Project Management Professional Certification
