What You Will Do
As a Pre Sales Manager specializing in HVAC solutions, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales process by leveraging technical expertise to support sales engagements and ensure customer satisfaction. You will be the go-to expert for HVAC systems, bridging the gap between sales and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and develop tailored technical solutions for HVAC systems.
- Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution overviews to clients and stakeholders.
- Analyze project specifications and oversee the preparation of technical proposals, including HVAC system designs, material submittals, and cost estimates, prepare alternative offers with value engineering, check order documents before releasing to factory to prevent any issue.
- Manage pre-sales activities such as RFI/RFP responses, technical clarifications, and competitive analysis to support the sales strategy.
- Work closely with engineering and project teams to ensure that proposed solutions align with operational capabilities and customer expectations.
- Maintain strong relationships with channel partners, consultants, and customers to foster long-term business opportunities.
How You Will Do It
As an Experienced Pre Sales Manager, you need to have a deep knowledge of designing HVAC system solutions involving Chillers, AHU, FCU systems, Close Control Units, Cooling Towers and;
- Your success in this role will be driven by your ability to effectively manage technical pre-sales processes while aligning with Johnson Controls' core operating principles:

- Collaborate closely with internal teams and customers to remove obstacles and deliver solutions that matter most.

- Foster a team-oriented environment that emphasizes trust, diversity, and shared success throughout the sales and delivery processes.
- Serve as the main technical liaison between sales teams, factory engineering, and manufacturing for nonstandard or complex applications.
- Lead technical review sessions for large or high-risk projects to evaluate feasibility, custom requirements, and profitability.
- Ensure solution integrity and technical accuracy across all proposed designs and submittals
What we look for
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in HVAC pre-sales, system design, or technical support within the UAE region.
- Proven expertise in HVAC systems, including chillers, AHUs, Close Control Units, Cooling Towers and advanced cooling technologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform heat load calculations and equipment sizing.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to balance performance, cost, and feasibility
- Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to support sales strategy
- Team collaboration and cross-functional communication
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Leading a team experience is a must, as this role requires strong leadership capabilities and experience managing and developing a technical or sales/application support team.
