About the Opportunity A UAE-based organization is seeking a Junior Data Scientist to support data-driven initiatives and business insights.
Key Responsibilities Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured datasets Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and actionable insights Develop and evaluate basic machine learning models Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders Collaborate with internal teams to support business and analytical needs Document workflows, methodologies, and findings.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field Proficiency in Python (Pandas, Num Py, Scikit-learn) Working knowledge of SQL and database querying Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau Understanding of fundamental machine learning concepts Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Good communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications Internship, academic, or project experience in data science or analytics Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCPFamiliarity with Git or other version control systems
