Job Details

As a Junior Architect you will be embedded in a project team from day one, contributing to concept, design development, technical delivery and site coordination on high-end residential, hospitality and mixed-use projects across the Middle East and Europe. You will work closely with Project and Senior Architects, building both your creative voice and technical confidence while learning how world‑class projects actually get delivered.

What you’ll be doing

  • Contributing design ideas, sketches and options that respond intelligently to brief, context and client aspirations.
  • Preparing concept presentations, drawings, physical models and 3D visuals using Revit/Rhino/SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Supporting the production of coordinated drawing packages, details, schedules and specifications across multiple project stages.
  • Assisting with research into materials, precedents, codes and sustainability strategies to underpin robust design decisions.
  • Joining internal design reviews, pin‑ups and crits, presenting your work and constructively challenging ideas.
  • Participating in site visits under senior guidance, helping translate design intent into clear information for contractors.
  • Keeping models and documentation organised, accurate and aligned with studio standards and BIM workflows.

Requirements
  • Recently qualified Architect (or equivalent) with 1–3 years’ experience in design-led practice.
  • Portfolio that shows strong design thinking, clarity of representation and a feel for crafted, contemporary architecture, ideally in high-end residential or hospitality.
  • Confident working in Revit plus good skills in AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite; hand sketching a strong plus.
  • Comfortable operating in a collaborative, multicultural environment; you listen well, take feedback on board and aren’t afraid to speak up with a better idea.
  • Naturally organised, deadline-aware and reliable – you take ownership of your part of the work and care about the details.
  • Genuinely interested in contextual design, sustainability and the broader cultural stories behind the buildings you help create.

Benefits
  • Competitive, tax-free salary benchmarked against leading design studios in the Middle East and Europe.
  • Annual performance review with clear salary progression linked to responsibility, impact and design contribution.
  • Discretionary annual bonus tied to personal performance and studio/project success.

Growth and development

  • Structured mentoring from experienced Project and Senior Architects, with regular 1:1s and portfolio/skills reviews.
  • Clear progression pathway from Junior Architect into project-running roles as you grow.
  • Support for professional accreditation/registration routes where relevant to the local market.

Ways of working

  • Exposure to international projects across the Middle East and Europe, often with travel opportunities for key project stages.
  • Hybrid, trust-based working culture (where role and project allow), built around delivery and communication rather than clock‑watching.
  • Diverse, collaborative studio environment with regular design reviews, crits and cross-team learning.
