The Junior Draftsman is responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings and supporting the design and engineering team in developing detailed plans for landscape and construction projects. The role involves working closely with engineers, architects, and site teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements and standards. Key Responsibilities ( Landscape )
Prepare detailed 2D and 3D landscape drawings using software such as Auto CAD, other visualization tools Develop landscape shop drawings, including hardscape, softscape & irrigation layouts Produce and update as-built drawings based on site conditions and completed works Revise drawings according to feedback from landscape architects, engineers, and consultants Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, local authority regulations, and landscape standards Coordinate with site engineers, irrigation teams, and horticulture specialists for design clarifications Prepare planting plans, including plant schedules, species selection, and spacing details as per project specification Assist in quantity take-offs for landscape materials (plants, soil, paving, irrigation systems, etc.) Maintain proper documentation, drawing registers, and version control Qualifications & Requirements Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Drafting1–2 years of experience Basic knowledge of drafting standards and construction drawings Proficiency in:Auto CADMS Office Knowledge of landscape drawings (softscape & hardscape) is an advantage
