Role Overview:
The HR Manager will lead and oversee all human resources functions across Al Boom Marine's retail operations in the UAE. Reporting to senior leadership, this role will be responsible for driving HR strategy, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring operational excellence across stores and corporate functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in retail HR within the UAE and the ability to support a fast-paced, customer-centric business.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Strategy & Business Support
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with overall business objectives, particularly for retail operations.
- Partner with leadership to support business growth, workforce planning, and organizational development.
- Drive HR initiatives that enhance productivity, engagement, and retention across retail teams.
Talent Acquisition & Development
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes with a focus on retail hiring across multiple store locations.
- Design and implement onboarding, training, and development programs.
Support career progression and succession planning within the organization.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Manage employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary processes.
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and internal policies.
- Maintain a fair, transparent, and positive work environment.
Performance & Rewards Management
- Lead performance management processes including goal setting, appraisals, and development plans.
- Oversee compensation and benefits structures aligned with market standards.
- Support reward and recognition initiatives to drive performance.
HR Operations & Systems
- Maintain HR systems, records, and reporting metrics.
- Ensure efficient HR operations and continuous process improvement.
- Support retail expansion by developing scalable HR processes and structures.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5-8 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on retail HR in the UAE.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience supporting multi-store retail operations.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE labor laws and HR best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with HR systems and data-driven decision-making.
