Job description

• Follow up the shop drawings, method statements and material approval prior to the start of the project
• Coordinate with the Contractor and Supplier involved in the project
• Monitor safety of Labour
• Day to day management of the site including supervising and monitoring the site labour
• Update project teams with daily progress report and any assigned actions
• Daily coordination with the Site Foreman to ensure technical details are carried out in accordance with the specifications
• Monitor site regularly and resolve any technical difficulties
• Follow financial aspects i.e. submitting measurments on time so as not to delay payment
• Follow up payment certificates
• Prepare weekly progress reports
• Estimate material and labour required to complete job
• Supervise work on site in accordance with contract agreement
• Other duties as requested from time to time.

Skills

• Civil Engineering Degree qualified
• High level of computer literacy in Windows – Word, Outlook, Excel
• Ability to relate and interact successfully with a multi-cultural workforce at all levels.
• Must have outstanding communication skills in English and Arabic. 
• Able to use initiative and adopt a proactive approach.
• Work with limited supervision.
