Our Regional Main Contracting client has a new requirement for well a experienced General Foreman to join their team in Dubai working on Civil Build and interior Fit Out projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a General Foreman working on similar project typologies involving build and surrounding civil works in the UAE and have relevant contracting company background for recognised contracting companies previously This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent opportunity employed by our client. Key Responsibilities: To supervise, co-ordinate and motivate all trades and labour on site. To interpret drawings to enable the works to be built correctly To ensure that a high standard of workmanship is achieved To keep time sheets for submission to the Site Manager / PM as and when Time Keeper/Store Keeper is not present To maintain company safety policy on site particularly with respect to helmets, safety shoes, scaffolding and weatherproof power outlets. To achieve production/programme targets. Ensure they are familiarised with the productivity norms (if not then PM / SM to advise). To co-ordinate and give attendance to subcontractors To liaise with Consultant, Client and Statutory Authority representative's visit to site in Site Manager's absence To ensure that messing and toilet facilities are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition To provide accurate line and level for all works with appropriate instruments To maintain correct usage/storage of materials and control waste To maintain discipline on site Ability to communicate in English and Hindi

General Foreman Experience: High school diploma minimum - any additional relevant certification will be considered an advantage 3 years of experience as construction management Excellent knowledge of construction operations and equipment Experience and knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems Familiarity with blueprints Good time-management skills Ability to multi-task
