Key Responsibilities
- Client Assessment & Planning: Conduct initial fitness assessments, health history screenings, and body composition measurements to create personalized, safe, and effective training programs.
- Instruction & Coaching: Guide clients through, and demonstrate proper form for, strength training, cardiovascular exercise, and stretching to maximize results and prevent injury.
- Motivation & Support: Motivate, encourage, and hold clients accountable to their goals through constant feedback and a positive, empathetic attitude.
- Group Fitness Management: Lead specialized, high-energy group classes or small group training sessions tailored for women.
- Health Education: Offer nutritional guidance and advise on healthy lifestyle changes, injury prevention, and proper recovery techniques.
- Facility Maintenance: Ensure the training area is clean, organized, and that equipment is safe and used correctly
Skills
Requirements & Qualifications
- Certification: Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certification from a recognized body (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM).
- Experience: Proven experience as a fitness trainer, instructor, or in a similar wellness role.
- Skills: In-depth knowledge of exercise science, anatomy, and nutrition.
- Certification: Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and motivational skills to connect with female clients.
- Physical Ability: Ability to demonstrate exercises and withstand a physically active workday
