About us Dutco Construction L.L.C is part of the Dutco Group of Construction companies which started operations in the United Arab Emirates in the 1970s and today considered one of the leading heavy civil and marine contractors in the UAE. Many of the country’s highways, tunnels and bridges have been engineered and built by us, allowing the use of our in-house asphalt, concrete, plant and machinery. For almost 50 years we have built a strong and loyal client base across both the public and private sectors whilst working on the UAE’s iconic projects including Expo 2020, The Address Hotel renovation, Bluewaters, Marsa Al Seef, CityWalk and the expansion of the Fashion Avenue in the Dubai Mall.

We are hiring a Planning engineer in Abu Dhabi.

Role Purpose The role of the Junior Planner is to be the primary link between the project planning function and the works. The Junior Planning Engineer assists the Project Planning Team in the capturing, recording and conformation of daily site engineers progress reports to ensure the flow of information is certified and gathered in a timely manner and reported into the project planning function. Key Responsibilities Assist in the Development and implementation of resource and cost loaded plan & master schedule. Assist in maintaining programmes & master schedules – Documenting Change and ensuring progress update follows the agreed planning rules. Follow all company planning policies and procedures. Assist in the production of 4 week Rolling Horizon STLA & KPI Targets for posting and data capture (war room). Ensure Engineer Daily lookahead reports are updated and returned in a timely manner. Assist with the progress input into programme tool set and issue to Planning Engineer/Senior Planner for review. Cascade Project Issues to the Planning Engineer/Senior Planner/Planning Manager. Assist in the production of Project KPIs

Desired Candidate Profile

• Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field

• Experience: Minimum 3-6 Years as planning engineer, planner

• Proven experience in high-rise building projects in the UAE (Abu Dhabi experience preferred).
