Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to support day-to-day warehouse and store operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, manpower planning, and smooth coordination of inward and outward material movement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage receiving, warehousing, and dispatch operations
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure stock accuracy
- Monitor daily stock reconciliation and reporting
- Handle manpower planning, shift scheduling, and team supervision
- Ensure proper documentation and record maintenance
- Coordinate inward and outward material movement
- Maintain housekeeping and proper material storage
- Identify and manage obsolete or slow-moving stock
- Prepare purchase requisitions for stock replenishment
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety standards, and company policies
- Coordinate with production and other departments
- Participate in stock audits and physical verification
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelors Degree / Diploma (preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in store/warehouse operations
- Experience in manufacturing / chemical / lubricants industry preferred
