Black Pearl, a specialist in technology and digital transformation recruitment across the UAE and GCC, is supporting a high-impact enterprise transformation program.

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Technical Consultant (ABAP) who has strong exposure to Clean Core principles, modern SAP architecture, and cloud-based extensions.

This is a critical role for professionals who have worked on S/4HANA implementations, system modernization, and integration across SAP and non-SAP environments.

• Design and develop solutions within SAP S/4HANA using ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, and Fiori
  
• Lead custom code adaptation and Clean Core compliance during system upgrades and migrations
  
• Build side-by-side extensions using CAP, RAP, and SAP BTP instead of in-app modifications
  
• Develop and manage APIs (OData V2/V4, REST, SOAP, BAPIs) aligned with SAP standards
  
• Handle integration between SAP and external platforms
  
• Perform performance tuning, debugging, and runtime analysis
  
• Support architecture decisions and ensure compliance with enterprise standards
  
• Deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance technical solutions
  
• Participate in end-to-end S/4HANA implementations and upgrades
  

• Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA technical development (ABAP 7.5, HANA, CDS, AMDP)
  
• Hands-on expertise in Clean Core architecture and upgrade-safe development practices
  
• Experience in S/4HANA private cloud implementations (minimum 3 full cycles)
  
• Solid background in:
  • ALV Reports, Data Dictionary, Adobe Forms
    
  • Enhancements, User Exits, BDC, Interfaces
    
  • ALE/IDOCs and integration frameworks
    
• Strong exposure to:
  • SAP BTP / Cloud Foundry
    
  • REST APIs, OData services, Node.js (basic integration level)
    
• Expertise in debugging, SQL trace, and performance optimization
  
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented ABAP development
  

• You understand both technical architecture and business processes
  
• You can solve complex problems and design scalable solutions
  
• You have experience working in enterprise transformation or migration programs
  
• You are comfortable working in cross-functional and international teams
  

• Exposure to SAP DevOps, automation, or Joule (AI in SAP)
  
• Experience in design thinking or innovation-led delivery
  
• Contributions to SAP Community / technical blogs
  

• Work on large-scale digital transformation programs
  
• Exposure to modern SAP architecture (Clean Core, BTP, cloud extensions)
