Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using modern diagnostic tools and equipment

  • Perform routine maintenance and servicing, including oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid checks

  • Carry out major repairs such as engine, transmission, suspension, and electrical system work

  • Conduct pre-sale and post-service vehicle inspections

  • Ensure all vehicles meet safety and quality standards before delivery

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment

  • Use tools and equipment properly and report any faults or damages

  • Keep accurate records of repairs, parts used, and services performed

  • Follow manufacturer specifications and company procedures

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and, when needed, customers regarding vehicle issues and solutions

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a car technician or automotive mechanic

  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, etc.)

  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment

  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality work

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Relevant technical certification or diploma in automotive engineering (preferred)

  • Valid driver’s license (preferred)

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Familiarity with computerized diagnostic systems

  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
