Position: Site Engineer (Civil / Structural)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Site Engineer with strong on-site presence to oversee civil and structural works execution. The role focuses on technical supervision, quality control, and site coordination, ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with IFC drawings and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Supervision (Civil / Structural):
* Monitor execution of civil and structural works in accordance with IFC drawings and specifications* Check reinforcement prior to concrete works* Verify dimensions, levels, alignment, and overall structural accuracy* Inspect critical stages of work before concrete or closing activities* Ensure proper execution of foundations, slabs, retaining elements, and structural components
Site Coordination:
* Maintain full-time presence on site* Coordinate daily site activities between contractors and subcontractors* Ensure proper sequencing and readiness of work areas* Liaise with MEP team to ensure required provisions (openings, sleeves, trenches) are properly coordinated before casting
Inspections:
* Attend site inspections with consultant and relevant authorities* Ensure works are fully ready and compliant prior to inspection* Follow up on comments and ensure corrective actions are implemented on site
Progress & Timeline Control:
* Monitor site progress against the schedule* Identify delays and raise issues proactively* Support maintaining the overall construction timeline
HSE Awareness:
* Ensure basic compliance with safety requirements on site* Monitor use of PPE and safe work practices* Coordinate with HSE team when required
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Site Engineer (Civil) in UAE (villa / low-rise projects preferred)* Strong understanding of structural and civil works execution* Ability to read and interpret IFC drawings* Basic understanding of MEP coordination (for openings and provisions)* Hands-on, site-oriented, and detail-focused
Important Note:
This role is focused on civil and structural execution control. MEP works will be handled by a dedicated MEP engineer; however, coordination is required to ensure proper integration before structural works are completed.
