Job description
A Home WiFi Services Telesales Executive is responsible for selling residential internet and WiFi solutions over the phone. The role involves contacting potential customers, explaining available home internet packages, and helping customers choose the best plan based on their usage needs, while achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make outbound calls to potential customers to promote home WiFi and broadband packages
- Handle inbound inquiries about internet plans, installation, and pricing
- Explain features such as speed, data limits, coverage, and installation process
- Assess customer requirements (home size, number of users, streaming/gaming needs)
- Recommend suitable WiFi plans and upsell additional services (routers, boosters, TV bundles)
- Achieve individual and team sales targets
- Follow up on leads and convert inquiries into confirmed subscriptions
- Coordinate with installation teams to ensure smooth service activation
- Maintain accurate records of calls, leads in the system
- Handle customer objections and provide effective solutions
Skills
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Previous telesales or call center experience (telecom or internet services preferred)
- Basic understanding of home WiFi, internet speeds, and connectivity
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Good listening and customer-handling abilities
- Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms
