he Marketing Manager – Mall is accountable for driving marketing outcomes, ensuring effective budget utilization, maintaining brand consistency, and overseeing execution governance for the assigned mall. The role is responsible for translating approved strategic directions into high-impact campaigns and events, executed through Assistant Managers and operational teams, with a clear focus on delivering measurable business impact and enhancing retailer engagement. This position holds overall responsibility for performance outcomes and approval authority, rather than involvement in day-to-day operational execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee the annual and monthly marketing calendar for the mall, ensuring full alignment with regional and group-level strategic objectives.
Identify and leverage mall-specific growth opportunities based on catchment analysis, tenant mix, and seasonal demand patterns.
Drive marketing initiatives that effectively enhance footfall, retail sales performance, and overall brand positioning.
Take full ownership of the approved mall marketing budget and ensure disciplined financial governance.
Monitor budget utilization continuously and proactively manage any variances.
Evaluate the return on investment of campaigns and events using clearly defined performance indicators and metrics.
Review, refine, and approve campaign frameworks, event concepts, and creative directions to ensure strategic alignment.
Maintain strict brand consistency across all ATL, BTL, digital, and on-ground marketing touchpoints.
Ensure full adherence to LIHL brand guidelines and internal approval protocols.
Establish and sustain strong collaborative relationships with retailers and key internal stakeholders.
Drive and facilitate active retailer participation in mall-led promotions, activations, and events.
Address and resolve marketing-related escalations in coordination with regional leadership teams in a timely and effective manner.
Lead, mentor, and manage the mall marketing team to ensure high performance and accountability.
Define clear roles and responsibilities, ensuring effective delegation and ownership across the team.
Conduct structured performance evaluations and support continuous capability development.
Evaluate the performance of agencies and external vendors against agreed deliverables and standards.
Approve scopes of work, service agreements, and key deliverables in line with business requirements.
Ensure optimal cost efficiency while maintaining high-quality output and service delivery standards.
Provide final approval for mall-level creative assets, marketing campaigns, and social media calendars.
Approve execution plans within the framework of sanctioned budgets and strategic priorities.
Recommend appointment of vendors and approve any changes to scope or service requirements as necessary.
The ideal candidate must have previous experience of working within Marketing in a Shopping Mall, and have a proven track record of delivering all of the key objectives dictated in the Job Description. They must also be happy to work six days a week.
