Roles & Responsibilities
The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This senior role manages all site-based teams, subcontractors, and resources across villa and building construction projects in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day site operations including civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and finishing works.
Manage and direct site supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors to meet construction programme milestones.
Coordinate with technical, design, QAQC, and survey teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Monitor construction progress against baseline programme and implement corrective actions as required.
Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards across all site activities.
Manage material deliveries, plant, and equipment resources to prevent construction delays.
Conduct regular site progress meetings with client representatives and consultant teams.
Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, and ITP compliance on site.
Prepare and submit site progress reports to senior management.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
12–18 years of construction experience including 5+ years in a Construction Manager role with a Tier 1 UAE contractor.
2–5 years of direct experience on villa and/or building construction projects in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations, HSE standards (OSHAD/TRAKHEES/DM), and quality requirements.
Demonstrated leadership ability to manage large, diverse on-site teams.
Proficiency in construction programme management (Primavera P6 or MS Project).
