Roles & Responsibilities

The role involves supporting statistical and survey-based projects by collecting, processing, and analyzing data from field and internal sources. The incumbent will ensure accurate data entry, adherence to approved methodologies, and timely reporting, while coordinating with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of price survey projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute project plans and schedules for price surveys in line with approved guidelines and timelines

• Collect, verify, and enter data from field, organizational, and record-based sources into statistical systems

• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality of all collected data

• Conduct coding, classification, and data matching as per defined methodologies

• Monitor price changes, validate data quality, and document findings within systems

• Prepare and manage survey samples, statistical models, maps, and data collection tools

• Generate periodic reports highlighting progress, challenges, and corrective actions

• Coordinate and communicate with external stakeholders and target entities for survey execution

• Support field teams by providing guidance and resolving operational issues

• Ensure compliance with statistical standards, classifications, and fieldwork protocols

• Suggest improvements to data collection forms and processes based on field insights

• Monitor system readiness and ensure tools and platforms meet operational requirements

• Manage and maintain survey equipment and materials (e.g., tablets, forms)

• Participate in meetings, training sessions, and implement updated methodologies

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the reporting manager

Desired Candidate Profile

• Possesses a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; a strong academic foundation is essential.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Proficiency in statistical software packages such as SPSS, R, or SAS is essential for data manipulation and analysis.
• Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying patterns and drawing conclusions from data.
• Experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is advantageous for presenting data effectively.
