Job description

Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), and civil drawings to avoid clashes

• Create detailed 2D and 3D architectural drawings using software like AutoCAD, BIM is optional & prefer.

• Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, detailed drawings, and reflected ceiling plans based on architect's sketches and concepts.

• Create detailed shop drawings for joinery, doors, windows, partitions, false ceilings, and staircases.

• Ensure openings, shafts, and blackouts are correctly shown for MEP and structural works.

• Maintain version control and revision history (e.g.,

Revision A, B, C - Issued for Construction, As-Built).

Skills

AutoCAD (advanced level) - layers, blocks, x-refs, layouts, dynamic blocks, paper space/model space.

• Understanding of architectural drawings - floor plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules.

• Knowledge of Dubai Municipality Code, Civil Defense

requirements, DEWA regulations.

• ability to understand architect instructions and clarify doubts.

• coordinating with architects, engineers, and other draftsmen.

• handling multiple revision cycles and last-minute changes

• Diploma or degree in Architecture with 5+ years of experience in AutoCAD.
