Job Objective:
• To create, implement and manage the Project’s quality assurance processes by analyzing and evaluating business needs, requirements, quality risks and areas for improvement.
• To develop, review, update and implement across business and operation areas - manuals, procedures, standard operating procedures, work instruction, guidelines and forms that will ensure higher quality products/services or methods of production/service delivery meet the customer needs & expectations, corporate strategies & goals.
• To ensure ISO certifications of SIPSC are well maintained by regularly evaluating and validating its adequacy and suitability by implementing necessary updates as required by the standards.
Key Accountabilities:
Audits
• Perform internal/external audits in the project, i.e. Self-performed scope and external audits on Vendors and Subcontractors as per the Project audit schedule and prepare audit reports and non-conformance reports.
• Assist Project QAQC Lead and Project QAQC Manager in developing audit plans in line with the Project QMS.
• Guide and support in preparation and implementation of corrective and preventive actions without undue delay by keeping a track of non-conformance status log.
• Participate in and support the ISO Compliance Auditor for SIPSC ISO 9001 external audits for surveillance and re-certification and ensure all requirements are met.
Customer Surveys and Feedback
• Support internal and external customer satisfaction surveys by gathering information around KPI’s and analyzing the feedback so that survey results can be used to identify areas of improvement and tackle any non-conformities.
• Identify improvement areas/ deficiencies in project and operational activities as well as weaknesses in systems and procedures and gives recommendations to process owners for their action.
Continuous Improvement
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international leading practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
Reports
• Prepare Project reports (non-conformity, preventive and corrective action reports, KPI’s, customer satisfaction survey, customer feedback, etc.) timely and accurately to meet SIPSC requirements, policies and standards.
Related Assignments
• Perform other related duties or assignments, as directed.
Quality Awareness
• Develop and conduct quality awareness training and ensure that conformance with internal requirements and accepted standards.
• Initiate and facilitate Quality Events to improve employee engagement towards strong Quality Culture in the Project.
Quality Plans and Parameters
• Collect, analyze and report the KPIs relevant to the quality performance of SIPSC, e.g. customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, process efficiency and effectiveness ratios, productivity measures, defects, complaints and ensuring that these measures and indicators are within specifications as per Quality Plan.
• Achieves quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; identifying and resolving problems with process owner; determining system improvements; implementing change.
• Conduct periodic monitoring and measurement of the KPIs including the review of new processes and operations to formulate applicable indicators and measures.
• Conduct periodic monitoring and reviewing of the Quality Risk Assessment (QRA) of processes and operations to update the QRA.
Boundaries & Decision-Making Authority
• Key decisions having significant impact on the QA section are referred to the Project QAQC Lead for endorsement to the Project QAQC Manager before implementation.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or any related field
- ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification
Minimum Experience:
- 6 to 8 years’ experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Management / relevant field within a similar industry activity
