Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs tailored to the unique operational challenges of a dark store environment, focusing on injury prevention and hazard mitigation.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments, identifying potential hazards within the dark store and devising effective control measures to minimize risks to employees and assets.
• Lead incident investigations, analyzing root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence, ensuring detailed documentation and reporting.
• Oversee and manage emergency response procedures, including fire safety, evacuation plans, and first aid, ensuring all staff are adequately trained and prepared.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a health and safety role, with a strong preference for experience within the e-commerce, warehousing, or logistics industries.
• Demonstrated expertise in OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards, with the ability to interpret and apply these standards effectively.
• Hold relevant certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or similar certifications.
