Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day waste collection and disposal operations, ensuring adherence to environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular inspections of waste management facilities and equipment to identify and address potential hazards or maintenance needs.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for waste removal, recycling, and specialized waste treatment services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Monitor waste generation trends and implement strategies to minimize waste production and maximize recycling rates.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a relevant degree or diploma in environmental science, waste management, or a related field.

  • Holds certifications such as Certified Waste Manager (CWM) or similar, demonstrating expertise in waste management practices.

  • Demonstrates a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in waste operations, preferably within a facilities management or environmental services context.

  • Exhibits a strong understanding of waste regulations, including local, state, and federal environmental laws.
